Window Washing and 8 Reasons Why St. George Homes Look Better After I Clean Your Windows
What Your Windows See (and Why I Make Them Shine)
A St. George story from someone who does window washing every day
If you live in St. George, you already know what’s up. Dust shows up every day. Sprinklers hit the glass like they have a personal grudge. Then the sun drops around five and suddenly every streak jumps out at you. It’s rough.
I’ve been cleaning windows here for more than nine years. Most days it’s just me. Sometimes Krisandra (a single mom who has worked for me for a few years) helps when she can. She also helps me with my house cleaning business.

Krisandra
I like keeping things small. It means I can pay attention to the details and nobody gets the old “sales guy promised one thing, worker did another” routine.
Around Entrada and The Ledges, hard water stains are everywhere. Same story in neighborhoods with strong sprinkler systems. A lot of homeowners think the glass is ruined. Sometimes it looks that way too. Most of the time I can bring it back a lot better than people expect.
I run First Impressions Window Cleaning because I like seeing the difference clean glass makes. Also because sitting behind a desk all day sounds terrible.
⇒ What Clean Windows Do For a St. George Home Might Surprise You (or not)
Most of my work is residential window washing around St. George. I clean homes in Entrada, The Ledges, and the neighborhoods where dust and mineral spots build up fast.
Clean windows change the whole feel of a house. It might sound dramatic, but it’s true. Natural light looks better. Views look sharper. Even the floors seem cleaner.
I clean inside and outside glass carefully. I’m picky about edges and corners. Missed spots drive me crazy.
A lot of people call before family visits or holidays. Others wait until they can’t stand looking through haze anymore. Both are fine.

⇒ A Local’s (me) Take On Commercial Window Washing
I mostly focus on homes, but I do commercial window washing for smaller businesses around St. George.
Like all windows restaurants and storefronts get dirty fast here. The wind kicks dust around nonstop. Add hard water from irrigation and things go downhill quick.
I’ve cleaned windows near places like George’s Corner and around busy shopping areas where fingerprints show up every twelve minutes.
Clean storefront windows help a business look cared for. Dirty glass makes even a nice place feel tired.
⇒ What I’ve Learned Cleaning Windows in St. George for 9 Years
Window cleaning sounds simple until you try doing it in Southern Utah.
The heat dries the glass fast. In the summer it dries so fast I can only clean one part of a big window at a time.

Dust sticks to everything. Hard water leaves marks that regular soap won’t touch. A lot of DIY jobs end with streaks and frustration. Usually around ladder number three.
My tools clean the glass without leaving residue behind. More importantly, I take my time. Fast work usually looks fast.
Some homes in Entrada have huge windows with amazing views. Dirty glass on those homes feels almost criminal.
⇒ How Clean Window Frames Make a Bigger Difference Than You’d Expect
Frames collect more dirt than most people realize.
Dust settles in the corners. Dead bugs pile up. Spider webs show up overnight. Especially near desert landscaping.
Cleaning the frames helps the whole window look finished instead of almost clean. I wipe down frames carefully so the glass doesn’t sit next to dirty trim.
It’s one of those details people notice without knowing why the windows look better.
⇒ Why I Never Skip Cleaning the Window Screens…
Screens trap a lot of dust.
You can clean the glass perfectly, but dirty screens still make everything look dull. Cleaning the screens helps bring back a clearer view and better airflow.
I clean screens carefully so they don’t bend. Especially older screens that have survived a few Southern Utah summers.

⇒ How I Remove Hard Water Stains Without Damaging the Glass
Hard water stain removal is probably the biggest issue I see around St. George.
Sprinklers hit the windows day after day. The minerals bake into the glass under the sun. After a while, regular cleaning won’t touch it.
I wipe straight vinegar on the glass and then let it dry. That works for me.
Some stains come off easier than others. Older stains take more work. I’m always honest about what’s realistic before I start.
Most people are surprised how much clearer the glass looks afterward.
⇒ Yep, I Do Shower Glass Cleaning
Shower doors get hammered by hard water too.
That cloudy white buildup gets thicker until the glass barely looks transparent. A lot of homeowners try store sprays first. Some help a little. Most don’t do much.
Cleaning shower glass removes the buildup and helps bring back clarity without damaging the glass.
It’s one of those jobs that makes a bathroom feel newer right away.

Anyway, that’s all I have to say about window washing.
If you’re looking for window washing in St. George, I’d be happy to help. I keep pricing fair, I show up when I say I will, and I pay attention to the details.
