A St. George story from someone who does window washing every day

If you live in St. George, you already know what’s up. Dust shows up every day. Sprinklers hit the glass like they have a personal grudge. Then the sun drops around five and suddenly every streak jumps out at you. It’s rough.

I’ve been cleaning windows here for more than nine years. Most days it’s just me. Sometimes Krisandra (a single mom who has worked for me for a few years) helps when she can. She also helps me with my house cleaning business.

I like keeping things small. It means I can pay attention to the details and nobody gets the old “sales guy promised one thing, worker did another” routine.

Around Entrada and The Ledges, hard water stains are everywhere. Same story in neighborhoods with strong sprinkler systems. A lot of homeowners think the glass is ruined. Sometimes it looks that way too. Most of the time I can bring it back a lot better than people expect.

The heat dries the glass fast. In the summer it dries so fast I can only clean one part of a big window at a time.

Some stains come off easier than others. Older stains take more work. I’m always honest about what’s realistic before I start.
